Senior Pastor Kourtney Hall
In 2001 Kourtney Carter-Hall a licensed and ordained evangelist of the Church of God in Christ Inc. by the call of God through His Holy Spirit relocated from Louisiana to the Bronx, New York.
Employed by the New York City board of education as a science teacher, she served at Zion International Outreach Ministries as Assistant Pastor to Bishop Herbert L. Butler from 2003 to 2007 and was ordained Elder in 2004.
In 2007 Pastor Hall graduated masters at Alliance Theological Seminary concentrating her studies in urban ministries. Pastor Kourtney Hall stepped out on faith and in 2008 by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit she established Ambassadors For Christ Community Outreach Ministries.
Pastor Kourtney launched AFCCOM in 2008 and was inspired by God to seek a building which had four specific purposes all beginning with the letter “A.”
· Accessible-A public venue which had no stairs or basement
· Applicable-Able to be arranged and rearranged as needed.
· Available-Immediate occupancy without bring hardship to any person or organization.
· Affordable- God provision and favor. Consider the cost of high rents in New York City
In 2009 Pastor Kourtney had discovered her mission and moto “A Ministry of Help, Hope and Healing.
Ambassadors For Christ opened its doors to the South Bronx community at 520 Concord Avenue Bronx, NY and in 2010 was installed as Senior Pastor by Bishop Herbert L. Butler.
Several years later Pastor Kourtney was introduced to Chief Prelate, Apostle Felton O. Best and First Lady Janice Best by her friend and mentor Prophetess Ruth Moody and at the holy convocation in Windsor, CT she joined in fellowship with the International Fellowship of Sanctuary of Faith & Glory Churches in 2011.
On February 18, 2012 Pastor Kourtney and Pastor Dale entered into holy matrimony.
January 29, 2012-Dale Hall and Annette Jarvis were ordained deacons
April 13, 2013- Dale Hall was ordained elder, Kwame Omari-Dotteh and Clarence Forster III were ordained deacons.
May 1, 2016-Clarence Forster III was licensed a Minister, Brenda Sample and Carolee Tucker were ordained Deaconesses and Elder Dale Hall was installed as Assistant Pastor.
Mother Bettye W. Harris, both natural and spiritual mother of Pastor Kourtney. Mother Bettye is a faithful member and servant of Norris Memorial Church of God In Christ DeRidder, LA under the leadership of Pastor Murray Piper and was designated national mother of AFCCOM in 2008. Mother Bettye continues to provide the steady hand of leadership and guidance of living holy to others, especially to young women.
Memorial for Jarvis: Deaconess Annette Jarvis served the ministry faithfully until the lord call her home in 2015. So it was with great honor that Pastor Kourtney established Deaconess Jarvis posthumously as Church Mother.
